Information we obtain about you through your use of our website is generally maintained on servers located within the European Union. Your data will only be transferred to or processed in third countries without your express consent if this is provided for by law and a level of data protection that can be expected for this is ensured in the third country. Your data is essential to us, so we handle it with care.

The disclosure of data

As a matter of principle, we do not pass on your data to third parties. However, there are two exceptions to this:

Consequently, the processor must provide guarantees for appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure processing in compliance with the requirements of the GDPR and to ensure the protection of your rights as a data subject.

Types, purpose and storage period of your data

Server log files

Every time you visit our website, general information (so-called server log files) is transmitted from your browser to our server.

This includes the following data:

  • The IP address of the user
  • Browser type & browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Your Internet Service Provider
  • The website from which your access came
  • Status and the amount of data transferred
  • Date and time of the request

The IP address of your computer is stored only for the time of your use of the website and subsequently deleted or made partially unrecognizable by shortening. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. The remaining information is stored for a limited period. The legitimate interest in using this data results from the necessity for the proper operation of our website, in particular, to detect and eliminate errors of the website. It also allows us to make improvements, ensure the security of the system and manage workloads.

The legal basis for the use of the server log files is art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 letter f) DSGVO (Legitimate Interest in Data Processing).

Third-party services

We use services from third-party providers for our website, such as templates, plugins, or application programming interfaces (so-called APIs), to ensure and expand the functionality of our website. In the process, data may be transmitted to the service provider, which we would like to present to you subsequently.

In detail, we use the following services:

Google services

Our website uses products or services of the company Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), located Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Web Fonts

To display the font on the website, we use external fonts in “Google Fonts.” This service enables us to present our website consistently and appealingly, even on very differently configured user-end devices. This is done by loading the fonts from an external server instead of the user’s terminal device.

The required fonts are requested directly from a Google server (usually located in the USA). By this request of the fonts, the visited web pages and the IP address of your device are transmitted to the server and stored there.

The legal basis for processing your data concerning the “Google Fonts” service is art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f) DSGVO (Legitimate Interest in Data Processing). The legitimate interest of this use arises from the need for an appealing and uniform presentation of our online offering, as does the legitimate interest of Google in collecting personal data.
